For our trusted client, we are looking for:
EMEA Commodity Manager
Main responsibilities:
- Commodity Manager for Electronics and Mechanical Commodities Regional (Electronics, Passive, Microcontrollers, Capacitors, PCB, Coils, Stamping, Forged, Machined, Springs, Fasteners, Castings, Bellows, and Magnets);
- Develop and implement regional commodity strategies;
- To provide a strategy for each commodity and to lead and coordinate activities in order to implement projects on each site in cooperation with the site buyers;
- To manage the conference calls within the team;
- Put in place activities to develop projects in accordance with Supply Chain Director guidelines;
- Facilitate the daily purchasing activity, consistent with customer and site requirements;
- Initiate, start and implement cost savings projects in order to achieve the budget target;
- Assist sites with problem resolution on any supply chain related issues.

Main requirements:
- Graduate engineering education;
- Previous experience as Purchasing Manager will be considered an advantage;
- Knowledge of electronics and mechanical engineering;
- A minimum of 3-5 years of manufacturing experience in a similar purchasing/supply chain role;
- Must have knowledge and a thorough understanding of health and safety, and an awareness of overall standards and compliance in the workplace;
- Fluency in English, written and spoken;
- Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills;
- Analytical ability and self-motivation
- Confident to negotiate at all levels, and across cultures;
- Problem-solving skills;
- Customer focused.
