For our trusted client, we are looking for:

EMEA Commodity Manager 


Main responsibilities:

  • Commodity Manager for Electronics and Mechanical Commodities Regional (Electronics, Passive, Microcontrollers, Capacitors, PCB, Coils, Stamping, Forged, Machined, Springs, Fasteners, Castings, Bellows, and Magnets);
  • Develop and implement regional commodity strategies;
  • To provide a strategy for each commodity and to lead and coordinate activities in order to implement projects on each site in cooperation with the site buyers;
  • To manage the conference calls within the team;
  • Put in place activities to develop projects in accordance with Supply Chain Director guidelines;
  • Facilitate the daily purchasing activity, consistent with customer and site requirements;
  • Initiate, start and implement cost savings projects in order to achieve the budget target;
  • Assist sites with problem resolution on any supply chain related issues.

Main requirements:

  • Graduate engineering education;
  • Previous experience as Purchasing Manager will be considered an advantage;
  • Knowledge of electronics and mechanical engineering;
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of manufacturing experience in a similar purchasing/supply chain role;
  • Must have knowledge and a thorough understanding of health and safety, and an awareness of overall standards and compliance in the workplace;
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken;
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills;
  • Analytical ability and self-motivation
  • Confident to negotiate at all levels, and across cultures;
  • Problem-solving skills;
  • Customer focused.
